Korean Government-Backed Startups Take the Stage at Saudi Arabia's BIBAN 2025

Korean Government-Backed Startups Shine at BIBAN 2025 in Saudi Arabia

The Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED), a public organization under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups of the Republic of Korea, is driving the global expansion of Korea’s most promising startups.

From November 5–8, 2025, KISED will host the “K-Startup Pavilion” at BIBAN 2025—Saudi Arabia’s largest entrepreneurship and SME exhibition organized by Monsha’at (the SME General Authority). The event will spotlight 26 innovative Korean startups to investors and partners from across the Middle East.

Expanding Innovation and Collaboration

Since 2023, KISED and Monsha’at have jointly operated the K-Startup Pavilion, a government-backed platform designed to promote Korean innovation and encourage cross-border collaboration between Saudi Arabia and South Korea.

“The K-Startup Pavilion acts as a comprehensive platform, offering participating startups end-to-end support—from exhibition booth design and branding to investor matchmaking, local media promotion, and professional networking.”

Showcasing Future Technologies

Located at Startup Door SU-36, 38, and 40, the Pavilion will highlight startups working in sectors such as smart mobility, artificial intelligence, healthtech, greentech, and content innovation. These sectors closely align with Saudi Vision 2030’s mission for economic diversification and sustainable development.
