Stephanie Davis, the 32-year-old Hollyoaks actress, opened up on Instagram about her concerns ahead of breast removal surgery. She admitted to worrying she might not wake up after the procedure.
In a candid video shared on her Instagram stories, Stephanie revealed she had not slept the previous night due to anxiety. Sitting in a hospital gown, she described her breast implants as "horrible" and "massive," expressing fear that she "might not see anyone again."
“I've not slept last night worrying, but I know I'm in safe hands. These horrible, massive implants that I got put in years ago, I'm having removed.”
Stephanie explained that she had initially gotten implants to boost her confidence and feel more attractive, a decision she now regrets.
“I basically had no self-worth and thought, If I get big boobs, I'll feel more confident, sexy, I'll be more attractive. And [I wish] I could go back and never have got them done. But hey, ho.”
She also reflected on how her mindset has evolved over time, stating that she had not fully understood the lasting impact such changes would have on her body. Now, she hopes to return to her natural self.
“You do things, willy nilly, not realising how drastic they are, all the effects it's gonna have on your body. I wish I could go back and never touch my body because I was perfect the way I was, but I couldn't see that then. So now I'm going back, trying to go back to the way I was.”
Stephanie Davis bravely shared her fears and regrets before breast implant removal, emphasizing her journey towards self-acceptance and healing.
