The City of Brampton will hold two Remembrance Day events on November 11: a parade and a remembrance ceremony at city hall.
The remembrance ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. at Ken Whillans Square in front of city hall (2 Wellington St. W.), where the Brampton Cenotaph stands.
While Remembrance Day is not a statutory holiday, several businesses and government services will be closed, including:
Beer Stores and LCBO locations will open at noon with modified hours in observance of the day.

Brampton Transit will run on its regular weekday schedule. Veterans presenting medals, berets, uniforms, blazers, War Veteran Passes, or service papers can ride free all day.
