Edinburgh Trams will honor Remembrance Sunday (9 November) and Armistice Day (11 November) to pay tribute to those who died in World War I, World War II, and more recent conflicts.
To recognize the sacrifices of armed forces members, free tram travel is offered to veterans and active personnel of the Army, Navy, and Air Force on both days. Eligible individuals simply need to show their military ID or uniform to use this service.
“Each year I am proud to show our support at Edinburgh Trams on both Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day. As a former veteran myself, and with many colleagues who are also former service members, we are deeply committed to honoring all who paid the ultimate price while serving our country.”
Edinburgh Trams actively honors military sacrifice by offering free travel, supporting poppy sales, and observing moments of silence during Remembrance events.
