Danish toy company LEGO has revealed its very first Star Trek set — the Icons series USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D from "The Next Generation." This model celebrates the legendary starship commanded by Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his crew.
The NCC-1701-D, recognized as the fifth Federation vessel to carry the Enterprise name (or sixth, counting the NX-01 from the "Enterprise" prequel), met its fate in the film "Star Trek: Generations." Now, fans can reconstruct this iconic Galaxy-class starship and display it in their homes in the form of a detailed LEGO set.
"Worry not, as the Galaxy-class starship can now make a comeback and land directly in your home."
Developed in collaboration with Paramount Products & Experiences, the LEGO Icons Star Trek: USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D set captures every major detail of the Federation’s flagship. The set features both the ship and its notable crew members.
While the model serves as an accurate display piece, its sections can also be detached, allowing enthusiasts to stage imaginative living-room adventures for the famous starship.
Author’s summary: LEGO collaborates with Paramount to bring fans a 3,600-piece USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D model, reviving a beloved Star Trek icon for collectors and builders alike.
