Star Trek, the beloved "final frontier" of fandom, is finally joining the LEGO universe this month. On Black Friday, LEGO will release its long-awaited LEGO Icons 10356 U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation. The model consists of 3,600 pieces, marking a major milestone for collectors and sci-fi fans alike.
The set was designed by Hans B. Schlömer, known for his work on other massive LEGO ships like the Millennium Falcon and Endeavor. Graphic designer Crystal Marie Fontan contributed the visual design, capturing the essence of the crew through nine detailed minifigures.
Early photos leaked months before the official reveal, but they couldn’t fully convey the impressive scale of this build. The final reveal confirms the set’s substantial size and attention to authenticity.
