Former football star Alex Scott is reportedly set to join the lineup for this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here Down Under.
Alex Scott, 41, is celebrated for her success both on the pitch and on television. A former England international, she played for clubs including Arsenal, Birmingham City, and in the United States. Scott earned 140 caps for England and was part of Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics. After retiring from football, she transitioned into a broadcasting career, becoming a prominent TV presenter notably on the BBC and as a pundit on Match of the Day.
Regarding her personal life, Alex once had a somewhat unfortunate date with former Coronation Street actor Sam Robertson. In 2020, the pair shared a candlelit dinner at a high-end Soho restaurant in London, but the experience was not without its issues.
“I never seem to have a lot of luck on dates,” Alex admitted. “My one date in ages was going out with Sam [Robertson], who is lovely.”
She added to The Sun's Fabulous magazine: "The next morning, our pictures were all over the press because someone in the restaurant had taken a photo."
Alex Scott's public and private experiences show that beyond her impressive football and broadcasting career, her personal life has faced its own humorous and challenging moments.
