Cineplex Community Day 2025: Free Movies and Gaming on November 15
Celebrate Community Day on Saturday, November 15, with a morning full of free movies and gaming at local Cineplex theatres and entertainment venues. This event supports BGC Canada (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada).
Free Movie Screenings at Cineplex Theatres
Enjoy a selection of family-friendly films from Universal Pictures, including:
- Minions: The Rise of Gru
- Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
- Sing 2
- The Wild Robot
Select concession items such as regular popcorn, drinks, and candy will be available for $3 each, plus tax.
Free Gaming at XSCAPE, The Rec Room, and Playdium
XSCAPE locations will provide 30 minutes of free non-redemption gaming. The Rec Room and Playdium will open at 9:00 a.m. offering free one-hour non-redemption game bands.
Food specials until noon include:
- The Rec Room: fries and mini donuts for $3 each
- Playdium: fries, popcorn, drinks, and candy for $3 each
Support for BGC Canada
Throughout the day, $1 from every food and beverage purchase, XSCAPE playcard sale or reload, and game band transaction at The Rec Room and Playdium will be donated to BGC Canada. Similarly, $1 from each selected concession order at Cineplex theatres will support this national nonprofit.
