Joji Announces New Album and Shares Second Single

Joji, the acclaimed YouTuber-turned-musician, returns with new material and the announcement of his fourth studio album Piss in the Wind, set for release on February 6, 2026, through Palace Creek. The record promises to connect his earlier soundscapes with more current sonic experiments, blending dark emotional tones with textured, atmospheric production.

Earlier this month, Joji introduced the first glimpse of the album with the single PIXELATED KISSES. It was his first release since SMITHEREENS in 2022 and garnered massive attention — reaching nearly 50 million streams and landing on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

On November 5, Joji unveiled another track from the upcoming album, titled It It Only Gets Better. The song draws from his lo-fi origins, combining acoustic guitar elements with syncopated basslines and ethereal harmonies.

“It’s accompanied by a James Mao-directed video that playfully nods to the breakout ‘YEAH RIGHT’ from his 2018 album BALLADS 1,”

The video contrasts energetic, club-like imagery with introspective and minimalist lyrics. Joji’s previous album SMITHEREENS featured the RIAA double Platinum hit Glimpse of Us, his most successful single to date on Spotify’s Global 50 chart.
