Singer Tish Hyman confronted a transgender woman in a women's locker room at a gym in Los Angeles, claiming this was not the first time she had encountered men there.
A viral video captures Hyman confronting a transgender individual inside the women’s locker room of a gym formerly operated as Gold’s Gym, now managed by EoS Fitness.
"I was scared, and I told him to leave. He would not leave, and had no regard for my naked body," Hyman said.
Hyman revealed this was not an isolated event; she claims to have faced similar situations four times within the past two weeks and reported them to gym staff, who did not respond.
In the video, Hyman can be heard shouting, Stay out of the women’s locker room, we don’t want it!
The person she confronted remains unidentified, and there is no evidence of any legal violation.
"He said to me, verbatim, ‘Straight women like to see D (genitals) so if anything, they’re looking at me more than you,’" Hyman recalled. "I was in complete shock."
After the confrontation escalated, both individuals were removed from the gym, and Hyman’s membership was revoked due to her outburst.
This incident highlights ongoing tensions around transgender individuals accessing gender-specific spaces and the challenges faced by gym patrons and management alike.
