Singer Tish Hyman reported that her Gold’s Gym membership in Los Angeles was canceled after she protested a man entering the women’s locker room. The 42-year-old artist shared a video of the encounter and stated that the gym terminated her membership shortly after the incident.
“I have repeatedly filed written reports about this man coming into our women’s locker room and harassing us, but the staff has done absolutely nothing! He has disrespected me multiple times, and every time I reported it quietly, I was ignored. But today I made noise!”
Hyman explained that as she entered the locker room, the man followed her, insulted her, and she ran out shouting for help.
“Today as I walked into the locker room, he came in behind me and called me a b*tch in a deep angry voice. I ran into the gym screaming there is a man in the restroom!”
She added that several male gym members intervened and finally the staff acted. The recorded video shows the man dressed in black arguing with another person before Hyman is heard shouting at him.
“Now he knows how to be a man, right? Stay out of the women’s locker room! He should have his gym membership revoked for that!”
After confronting a man entering the women’s locker room at a Los Angeles Gold’s Gym, singer Tish Hyman says her membership was revoked, sparking debate over how gyms handle gender-related complaints.
