On Sunday, the NWS Portland, OR issued an updated dense fog advisory in effect until 11 a.m. for Willapa and Wahkiakum Lowlands and Cowlitz County Lowlands.
The National Weather Service warns of visibility one quarter mile or less in areas of dense fog. These low visibility conditions could make driving hazardous.
"Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous," states the NWS. "If driving, slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Pedestrians and cyclists should wear bright or reflective clothing to increase the chances of being seen by others in poor visibility conditions."
A dense fog advisory means widespread fog has developed, frequently reducing visibility to one-quarter mile or less, making travel difficult.
This advisory is in effect until 11 a.m.
