Billy Bob Thornton and the Cast of "Landman" Premiere Season 2 in Fort Worth

On November 6, the stars of Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” gathered at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth for a special screening of the Season 2 opener. Though Billy Bob Thornton did not grow up in Fort Worth, he calls it his favorite U.S. city.

“For years and years, it was kind of the little sister to the big sister, and Fort Worth is really getting its due now,” Thornton said.

Thornton enjoys Fort Worth's Western culture and values the city as the main filming location for his latest television project. Alongside him at the event were “Landman” cast members Sam Elliott, Paulina Chávez, Michelle Randolph, and James Jordan.

Co-creator Taylor Sheridan was unable to attend, but his wife, Nicole Muirbrook, represented him. The premiere was hosted by the Fort Worth Film Commission in collaboration with the Lone Star Film Festival, which concluded its screenings in November.
