Iain Frizzle, 66, was jailed at Newcastle Crown Court after admitting to distributing indecent images of children. Frizzle shared horrific child abuse material with others and tried to engage in sexual chat with an underage girl online before police intervened.
The court learned that Frizzle possessed 10 extreme pornography images involving animals, alongside indecent images and videos of children. Some of the children depicted were as young as three and up to 14 years old.
On Friday, Frizzle, of Coach Road Estate, Usworth, Washington, was sentenced for possessing extreme pornography, three counts of distributing indecent images of children, attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, and making indecent images of children. He pleaded guilty to all charges.
Prosecutor Emily Sanderson explained that on March 12, 2023, police discovered an indecent image uploaded by Frizzle to Instagram. Officers searched his Washington home and examined electronic devices.
