Saudi Arabia Takes Centre Stage at WTM 2025

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia showcased its dynamic tourism sector at the World Travel Market (WTM) 2025, presenting an impressive calendar of global events and highlighting its iconic destinations.

Vibrant Destinations and Growing Visitor Numbers

Saudi Arabia's tourism includes destinations ranging from the pristine Red Sea coast and the ancient marvels of AlUla to the bustling cities of Riyadh and Jeddah. With nearly 116 million visitors in 2024 and 60.9 million in the first half of 2025, the Kingdom is among the world’s fastest-growing travel markets.

Saudi Land Pavilion at WTM

The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), along with 71 partners, presented the spectacular "Saudi Land" pavilion. It emphasized the Kingdom’s vast ambition and scale within the global tourism arena.

"After a record year in which it welcomed nearly 116 million visitors and generated 75 billion dollars in tourism spending, the STA came to the WTM ready to deepen global partnerships and open up new opportunities for collaboration and growth."

Saudi Arabia’s Unreal Calendar of Events

The pavilion highlighted the “Saudi Unreal Calendar,” an annual lineup of world-class events such as Formula 1, MDLBEAST Soundstorm, the Italian and Spanish Super Cups, and the WWE Royal Rumble. These events were vividly brought to life through an immersive campaign featuring Cristiano Ronaldo.
