The Emirates NBA Cup is an in-season tournament featuring all 30 NBA teams in a structured competition held during the regular season. Introduced a few years ago, the tournament gives teams a new trophy to compete for and adds extra excitement to early-season games.
The 2025 edition begins on October 31 and concludes with the championship game on December 16, hosted in Las Vegas. All Cup games count toward each team’s regular season record, except the final match.
West Group C promises fierce competition, featuring the Houston Rockets, Golden State Warriors, and Denver Nuggets—each finishing among the top seven last season. The San Antonio Spurs, off to a 5–1 start with 7’5 sensation Victor Wembanyama, and the Portland Trail Blazers, led by Israeli standout Deni Avdija, are strong challengers poised to shake up the standings.
"The tournament offers teams a new trophy to chase and brings a high-stakes element to early-season basketball."
