These recognitions are part of Opta Analyst’s ongoing FCS football coverage, highlighting weekly national player and team honors throughout the regular season.

The awards build anticipation for the annual Stats Perform FCS National Awards Show, which will take place on January 3, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee. The season-ending celebration is entering its 39th year.

Week 10 National Players of the Week

The Harvard Crimson were selected as the Stats Perform FCS National Team of the Week after strong performances across the board.

Rodney Nelson’s Standout Performance

“Nelson had career highs in carries (34), rushing yards (244), and all-purpose yards (306), and rushed for two touchdowns in a 35–7 CAA win at Bryant.”

Monmouth (8–1) continued to rely on Nelson’s production as he contributed critical yardage and consistency. His long receptions of 49 and 13 yards both led to touchdown drives by teammates.

His 306 all-purpose yards rank as the second highest total by any FCS player this season. Nelson also leads nationally in games with 100 or more rushing yards (eight) and 200 or more rushing yards (three).
