Boston Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov highlighted his toughness in the November 8 game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Signed during the 2024 NHL off-season for his physical presence, Zadorov lived up to expectations.
In the second period, Zadorov delivered a powerful hit to Maple Leafs forward Scott Laughton along the boards. Shortly after, he engaged in a fight with Toronto’s Bobby McMann. Both players handled themselves well, but Zadorov ended the fight strongly by landing several punches before the referees intervened.
"There is no question that Zadorov thrives with the physical side of the game, and he certainly showed this with his hit on Laughton and then fight against McMann."
Zadorov’s physical play, including his crushing hit and fight, exemplifies the grit the Bruins expect as the season progresses.
