The warm-up starts this afternoon. Despite a cooler start compared to Monday, temperatures will rise quickly from the morning's 40s and 50s to the low 80s under mostly sunny skies.
Expect increasing cloud cover as humidity gradually rises. Temperatures will remain in the low to mid-80s on both days with mostly dry conditions.
No tropical development is expected during the next seven days.
"Some of the showers may linger into Monday. As the showers move in, so will much colder weather. It's very possible that next week we will see the coldest weather of the season across the area."
Summary: A warming trend with mostly sunny skies is expected through Saturday before a cold front brings showers and notably colder temperatures early next week.
