Sean Stewart, the son of rock legend Rod Stewart, endured a brutal introduction to Misfits Boxing during his debut fight in Nashville. The event, titled "Duel," featured both professional and celebrity bouts, drawing a modest crowd at Music City.
Sean faced the popular streamer BDave, who was fighting in his adopted hometown. Commentator Ben "The Bane" Davis called Sean a "gym warrior," noting that he claimed to have trained since the age of six. However, the years of preparation didn’t translate into success under the bright lights.
As the fight began, the 45-year-old Stewart initially pressed forward, landing several punches. But moments later, he dropped his hands in the middle of an exchange and was swiftly caught by BDave. The knockout came just 15 seconds into the match, prompting the referee to stop the fight immediately. It marked BDave’s second straight knockout win.
“Sean was branded a ‘gym warrior’ on commentary by Ben ‘The Bane’ Davis.”
Rod Stewart was performing in London at the time and was unable to attend the fight in person — perhaps a fortunate absence given the quick and harsh outcome of his son’s debut.
