Weeks after a children's birthday celebration in the upscale Vaucluse suburb descended into a heated argument, the incident has escalated into a fierce public dispute involving legal threats.
The conflict centers on Danielle Plaskitt, operator of the Sydney-based pony entertainment service My Pony Party, and real estate agent D'Leanne Lewis from the city's eastern suburbs. The confrontation began when Lewis posted footage on Instagram showing the chaotic scene at her daughter Lyra's third birthday party on September 28 at Kimberley Reserve.
The viral clip, shared with Lewis’s 70,000 followers, portrayed Plaskitt in an unflattering light. In the video, she shouted:
“Get away from my ponies, now!”
Lewis, who stars in the Amazon Prime Video series Luxe Listings Sydney, was seen carrying her daughter away as the argument unfolded. The situation quickly attracted widespread online attention.
Responding to the backlash, Plaskitt explained that her frustration came after guests behaved, in her words, as “obstructive and difficult.” She stated that her company’s terms and conditions had not been respected and that her team had struggled with limited parking access at the event.
Following the media coverage, tensions have only grown. According to reports, both parties are exploring legal action, with Lewis already issuing a cease-and-desist notice to Plaskitt.
An extravagant birthday party in Vaucluse spiraled into a public feud between a pony party operator and a celebrity agent, now threatening to end up in court.
