Airbus has issued a worldwide alert for all A320-family aircraft after the discovery of a software issue that may have been triggered by solar radiation. More than 350 planes have been temporarily grounded for inspection. The manufacturer stated that the precautionary move aims to ensure flight safety until an update is installed. Airlines have been advised to conduct immediate technical checks before resuming normal operations.
"The flaw may affect key flight systems in rare circumstances linked to high-intensity solar activity," Airbus noted.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has released an advisory as Cyclone Ditwah moves toward India’s western coastline. The cyclone is expected to bring heavy rainfall and strong winds to coastal regions of Gujarat and Maharashtra. Fishermen have been warned to avoid the sea, and emergency response teams have been mobilized.
