Party Animals Win Inaugural Banana Ball Tour Championship
The 2026 Banana Ball schedule was released on Thursday, but the focus was on the conclusion of the current season, which ended with the Banana Ball Tour Championship Final on Saturday night at Grayson Stadium.
The final match was between the Party Animals and the Firefighters, with the Party Animals advancing after wins over the Tailgaters, and the Firefighters beating the Bananas. The Party Animals emerged victorious, winning 4-0, largely due to the performance of starting pitcher Garett Delano.
“We dance, we do all kinds of stuff, we work fast, but I just focused on pitching. I felt like a pitcher again, and I’m better that way,” said Delano.
Delano tossed seven innings and registered five strikeouts, leading his team to victory. He has been with the team since 2022.
