United Way Expands Workforce Initiative
The United Way of Central Indiana has expanded its Workforce Pathways Accelerator Initiative to three more statewide organizations, providing more Hoosiers with access to faster job placement and industry-recognized credentials.
The initiative, now offered through five nonprofits, helps individuals earn industry certifications and credentials, as well as access education and training, with a focus on supporting those who may not have the resources to obtain these credentials.

- Public Advocates in Community Re-Entry
- Indiana Plan
The program aims to support Hoosiers in obtaining industry-recognized credentials and accessing education and training.
Bernadette Monk, Economic Mobility Director at United Way of Central Indiana, is involved in the initiative.
