Taconic Volleyball Sweeps Monument Mountain
Taconic volleyball backed up Friday's sweep of Pittsfield with another home victory Monday night against Monument Mountain.
The Thunder took the sets 25-9, 25-15, 25-22, behind another 26 assists from Ella Stodden.
"Tonight's win was so important as we fight for the right to play in the state tournament," wrote coach Lancy Fyfe.
Coach Fyfe added that the team needs to win at least two more times, playing Southwick Wednesday and then in the Western Mass. tournament next week.
- Stodden had earned her 1,000th assist Friday night in the sweep of Pittsfield.
