Human Remains Found Near I-15 in Washington City
Human remains have been discovered near Interstate 15 in Washington City, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
A company contracted to clean up litter and debris within the I-15 right-of-way made the discovery on Monday afternoon. Mike Alexander with the Utah Highway Patrol stated,
“They reported the finding to UHP, who responded to secure the scene. Troopers and SBI agents are investigating,”
The Utah Department of Transportation has blocked the right shoulder on northbound I-15 at MP 14. This is a developing story.
In a separate incident, family members reported a person attended a festival in Utah with friends and was leaving the venue Saturday evening when organizers told crowds to clear out due to an approaching storm.
