The ESU program allows users to continue receiving updates, and it is available for $30. This option is ideal for those who prefer to use Windows 10 with a local account.
- To enroll, users can click "Enroll now" on the Windows Update page and link their Microsoft account.
- EU users only need a Microsoft account for free Windows 10 ESU, while users outside the region must also sync Settings to OneDrive.
- In the US, users can use 1,000 Microsoft Rewards points to sign up for Windows 10 ESU.
Microsoft says users who do not have a Microsoft account or Rewards points can subscribe to the $30 ESU.
