Drink-Driver Crashes Twice in 101 Days

A 37-year-old drink-driver from Bowerchalke has been banned from driving for nearly two years after crashing twice in just over three months.

Lee Colman crashed a Honda into a telecoms pole on High Road in Bishopstone on March 31, and was found to have 190 milligrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres in his blood.

On July 10, Colman crashed a second vehicle, an uninsured Citroen C3, into a tractor while having a child passenger.

Police were asked to attend by concerned firefighters.
