Ascension and UnitedHealthcare Reach Agreement
Patients with UnitedHealthcare insurance can once again access Ascension Wisconsin hospitals and doctors' offices with in-network coverage.
A new multi-year agreement between UnitedHealthcare and Ascension Wisconsin was announced, effective immediately and retroactive to October 1.
Services received from October 13 will be covered at in-network rates, and patients should not be billed for out-of-network costs.
The agreement resolves a dispute over reimbursement rates that caused UnitedHealthcare members to lose in-network access to Ascension facilities on October 1.
