Investigations into Antifa's Funding Sources
President Donald Trump and his top officials have vowed to use the full weight of the federal government to bring down Antifa.
Along with the Trump administration, multiple research groups are actively working to track down who is funding Antifa. According to Peter Schweizer, President of the Government Accountability Institute, many activist groups are linked to nonprofit organizations, some with tax-exempt status, often receiving money from large grant-giving foundations.
President Trump even pledged to go after Antifa's finances and designate it as an "international" terrorist organization.
Schweizer noted that in some cases, individuals can be found bragging about the support they've offered and given to certain groups.
