Carol Anne Wiley, 72, of Metamora, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025.
She was born on January 11, 1953, in Millville, Ohio, to John and Eileen (Fetzer) Wiley.
Carol lived a life marked by hard work and care for others, with a career spanning from research chemist to golf course groundskeeper and home cleaner.
She loved tending to her garden and took pride in canning the fruits of her labor.
Known for her kindness and generosity, she cherished her friends deeply and was always a devoted caretaker to those around her.
Carol is survived by her husband William “Bill” Godfrey, nephew Ian Wiley, niece Megan Wiley, great nephew Wyatt, and great niece Vera.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Michael and John Wiley.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
