Rosatom Approved for Paks II Supply
Rosatom has received approval to supply steam generator equipment for Hungary's new VVER-1200 reactors at Paks II.
The approval certifies full compliance with nuclear standards, enabling Rosatom to supply nuclear steam generator equipment for VVER-1200 Units 5 and 6.
- Rosatom's Mechanical Engineering Division met all audit requirements of project company Paks II Atomerőmű Zrt.
- Experts from Paks II Ltd and the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority conducted an audit at Rosatom Mechanical Engineering.
The Paks II project was launched in 2014 by an inter-governmental agreement between Hungary and Russia for two VVER-1200 reactors to be supplied by Rosatom.
