Arkansas Basketball Coach John Calipari Assessments
Arkansas men's basketball coach John Calipari stated that his team has "a ways to go" to meet expectations.
"I’m not going to say it was a debacle, but what would be the next word up from debacle? I got a good group, but we’ve got a ways to go to be what people think we’re going to be."
The team is ranked No. 14 in the Associated Press preseason poll and will play additional scrimmages against Cincinnati and Memphis to prepare for a tough nonconference schedule.
