Six months after a fatal crash in Marin County that killed four teens and injured two, the California Highway Patrol has concluded its investigation.
The report summarizes the investigators' findings and includes a recommendation, but the decision to charge the teenage driver will ultimately be up to prosecutors.
According to the California Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred on April 18 at 7:25 p.m. when the teen driver's vehicle crashed into a tree in Marin County.
The DA's Office is not saying when it will make a decision.
The family of a victim and their attorney have responded to the report, but due to the involvement of minors, it is unclear what information will be released publicly.
