As a 21-year-old woman in 2025, the author is part of a new generation still enamored with the Beatles, having grown up on their music and that of other classic rock staples.

Despite being born after the primes of most classic rock legends, the author had the chance to see a living Beatle, Paul McCartney, in concert, who still exudes coolness on stage.

Peering out into a sea of silver hair, the greatest rock musician in the world stood on stage looking as unbelievably cool as he did 60 years ago.

The author's experience is a testament to the enduring reach of Paul McCartney's music, which extends to Gen Z.
