Members of the West Norfolk Athletic Club have achieved numerous new personal bests and strong performances in recent events.
At the Great Eastern Run, also known as the Peterborough Half Marathon, ideal conditions led to notable performances. The 13.1-mile route, which starts and finishes at the Embankment, passes through the city centre and residential streets of Peterborough.
The cool temperatures and minimal wind created perfect conditions for personal bests. Carl Pickett achieved a new best time of 1:44:35. Susi Rogers-Hartley delivered an outstanding performance, improving her previous best by 14 minutes with a finish time of 2:21:07 in the wheelchair athlete category.
