Cheryl Hines, the wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is currently on a press tour promoting her memoir, Unscripted.
Last year, during Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s presidential run, he was asked if he would consider being Donald Trump's running mate. He replied,
"I don’t think that my marriage would survive it,"citing his marriage to Cheryl Hines, who added,
"I think he’s right."
Although Kennedy did not become Trump's running mate, he later endorsed Trump, and his marriage appears to have survived. On a recent episode of The View, Hines defended her husband's qualifications to lead the Department of Health and Human Services and addressed his spread of health misinformation.
Hines' press tour has sparked controversy, with some criticizing her husband's views on vaccines and health.
