Jefferson City Firefighters Assist Family with Flat Tire
Toni Lannert had planned a simple day with her family, starting with a trip to the store and a coffee run while still in her pajamas.
"That led to me going to a small shop to get a birthday present, thinking 'No one will be there and I’ll run in and out'—again in my pjs," wrote Lannert. "Well, there were lots of people there and it took me 30 minutes to find what I was looking for."
However, her day took a turn when the car's tire popped on the way home, forcing her to pull into a gas station and call for a tow truck. Fortunately, the Jefferson City Fire Department's (JCFD) Station Five arrived at the perfect time, helping the family in need.
