The Muskeg Lake Cree Nation and the Town of Blaine Lake have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to build a stronger future together.
The signing, which took place on September 18, marks a "historic step forward" in working together on shared priorities such as:
“Our communities have always been neighbours,”
said Chief Kelly Wolfe of Muskeg Lake Cree Nation, noting that the agreement recognizes the deep ties between the two communities and offers a path to move forward in unity.
