Texas County Fair Board Postpones Golf Tournament
The Texas County Fair Board is postponing its fundraising golf tournament one weekend due to forecasted inclement weather.
The tournament, which was scheduled for Saturday, will now be played on Saturday, Oct.
Tournament Details
- Sessions starting at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- Number of flights determined by entries
- Registration is $100 per team
- Cash prizes on every hole, insurance and 50/50 games, extra mulligans and a skins game
- Payouts: $350, $250 and $150 for first, second and third places
All proceeds from the tournament will be placed in the board’s building fund to raise money for new air-conditioned bathrooms, a cook shack and a kitchen.
