PHS Boys Finish as Runner-Up at MSAC Cross Country Championships
The Mountain State Athletic Conference meet took place on Saturday at the Knights' home course in ONA.
Savannah Pritt, a senior cross country standout from Cabell Midland High School, finished first in the girls' race. She started quickly and maintained her lead throughout.
"It feels good to win,"
Pritt said, after securing her first-place finish. Previously, she had finished as runner-up to Audrey Hall and Ella Hardin, who now run at West Virginia University and Marshall University, respectively.
As a sophomore, Pritt suffered a pelvic fracture and was unable to participate in the race.
