Flyers' Offense Struggles in 5-2 Loss to Jets
Following their home opener win against the Florida Panthers, the Philadelphia Flyers (1-2-1) hosted the Winnipeg Jets (3-1-0), last season's Presidents' Trophy winners, at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Thursday.
The Flyers previously faced the Jets twice last season, resulting in a 1-1 record. Before the game, defenseman Cam York was activated from injured reserve, while Emil Andrae was sent to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Despite Dan Vladar's strong performance against the Panthers, Samuel Ersson started in goal for his second game of the season.
