Appellate Tribunal for Forfeited Property Gets New Bar Room
The Appellate Tribunal for Forfeited Property (ATFP) has a new Bar Room to improve working conditions for lawyers.
Located in Khan Market, Delhi, ATFP is one of the country's oldest tribunals, adjudicating appeals under key legislations, including:
- Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA)
- Prohibition of Benami Property Transactions Act (PBPT)
- Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS)
- Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA)
- Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act (SAFEMA)
Lawyers appearing before the tribunal have also formed the Appellate Tribunal for Forfeited Property Bar Association.
