State officials are evaluating proposals for an apartment complex near Golden, a site originally intended for the Global Energy Park.
A resident of the Pleasant View neighborhood, Adrian Waller, expressed concerns about the potential development, which would be built on a 9.3-acre, state-owned parcel near the National Renewable Energy Lab.
Gov. Jared Polis announced the Global Energy Park in 2021 as a "future state-of-the-art laboratory" that would position Colorado and Jefferson County as "leaders in the future of energy."
