MUB Moving Forward with Office Expansion

The Morgantown Utility Board (MUB) is proceeding with a major expansion of its central office, located at 278 Green Bag Road, estimated to cost $8 million.

The project, which was initially explored in 2023, involves hiring Omni Associates to expand the current headquarters, comprising 1,660 square feet of basement space and 8,715 square feet on the main level.

The existing building, constructed in 1988, has undergone multiple minor remodels over the last 25 years and currently accommodates more than 40 employees.

MUB leadership is committed to moving forward with the much-needed expansion.

The expansion was temporarily put on hold in early 2024 to prioritize the launch of the Cheat Lake Wastewater Treat Plant upgrade, which is currently underway.
