Stockport Publishes Draft Local Plan
Stockport has published a 219-page spatial strategy for the borough, which includes 26 Green Belt sites.
The plan has been made available ahead of a consultation period, which is set to begin in the coming weeks.

The plan's design has been described as "not exactly groundbreaking" by one commenter, but others have expressed optimism about the proposals.

The publication of the plan follows a period of uncertainty after the council pulled out of the spatial plan for Greater Manchester.
