Aaron Nice: Power and Lift to Bridgewater Defense
Bridgewater College football standout linebacker Aaron Nice, a star for the Eagles in 2023 as a third-team All-American, took a season off to focus on powerlifting and qualifying for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
Despite not playing football in 2024, Nice stayed in top physical shape. A video from 2023 showed him deadlifting 445 pounds, generating over 1.4 million views and featuring on ESPN.
He has been great, he is a legacy (student). His mom and dad have a long history here at Bridgewater.
Bridgewater head coach Scott Lemn praised Nice, highlighting the value of his family's history with the college in the recruiting process.
Aaron Nice is now back with the Eagles, causing havoc for opponents as a senior linebacker.
