Sen. Johnson Introduces the Shutdown Fairness Act
U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) introduced the Shutdown Fairness Act to ensure hardworking Americans are paid during government shutdowns.
This legislation would appropriate funds for pay and allowances of excepted federal employees for periods of work performed during a lapse in appropriations.
