House Fire Claims Life of Carlow Town Man
A 45-year-old man has died following a house fire at Mount Leinster Park, Tullow Road in Carlow Town.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:40am on 19 October. Carlow Fire Brigade and An Garda Síochána responded to the scene.
The man was alone in the house at the time of the incident and was treated at the scene before being transported to St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny, where he passed away on Sunday evening.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed that the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
