Pacific Storm to Bring Heavy Showers and Storms
A Pacific storm system is approaching, bringing the best rain chances to the area in nearly a month, according to Meteorologist Siobhain Anders.
Currently, the storm system is off the coast of California, but it is expected to move across the desert southwest and into the South Central Plains, dragging a cold front through the region.
Rain chances increase on Friday, especially Friday night, with the potential for 1–2+ inches of rainfall in some areas.
Before the storm arrives, the region will experience drier, more comfortable air, with mostly cloudy skies in the morning and possible patchy fog, giving way to sunshine in the afternoon as humidity drops.
Changes are on the horizon this week as a Pacific storm system approaches, bringing the best rain chances the area has seen in nearly a month.
